Welcome, Dexter Fowler
You can’t talk about the 2017 Cardinals baseball season without talking about Dexter Fowler.

General Manager John Mozeliak said the Cardinals wanted Fowler not only for his on the field contributions, but his involvement in the community off the field.
Dexter is embracing the role of ‘new kid’ and is looking forward to getting to know his new teammates.
I’m a people person, so I don’t mind saying ‘Hello’
Fowler calls Barry Bonds his mentor and wore 24, and now 25 in his honor. Growing up Fowler’s father would throw balls at Dexter and his older brother.

Dexter said his dad threw pretty hard, but it helped him develop his approach at the plate and understand which pitches were inside the strike zone and those that were not.

Have fun, always have a smile on your face and let everything else take care of itself. That’s what I live by.
